MarkdipXV711
Hi, Completed model ready for inspection ... first time doing a work in progress, certainly spurs you on to complete !! Built out of box but with a few extras donated by Merlin101 and loads of advice given by other members. Big thanks to all. Work in progress thread as below http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234966198-italeri-172-eh-101-merlin-has1/ Finished in a heavily weathered/well used look. Foghorn Leghorn
Cracking model Mark, weathering's turned out really well. And the torpedoes give it a nice splash of colour

Grizzly
Cracking job,the weathering looks spot on. A lovely job on this Merlin HM1 look just right, hope it inspires others to build one. The Revell kit just reissued & a lovely set of new decals from ModelArt for Telford should help. Regards Len.

Pat Probably but one of the RAf HC3 converting it to a Naval version or maybe a what if Navy "SAR" version. Might be bias though 😉

MarkdipXV711
must be Merlin season well done Glenn. Cheers Glenn, Switching back to another Sea King .. a Revell 1:72 mk 41 bought today for £11 but converting it to Gannet SAR version. I already have done the Mk6 and Mk4 and the "Airfix" ASaC7 ... the later was terrible so will probably scrap it for spares and build another using the Revell as a starting point. http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234965435-back-to-hobby-and-a-trio-of-faa-sea-kings/ Loved doing the Merlin though and will probably do another but as the Navy Jungley version... will wait until some pictures emerge as reference. After the SAR ... it's saving up time for a 1/48 scale Sea King with all the extras including PE ( a first for me ), be rude not to !!!
