HL-10
I thought I would try something different. This is Mini Art's little Dingo scout car. Absolutely straight from the box. The vehicle was painted with Tamiya acrylics, the figures, which came with the kit, were painted with Humbrol enamels. free image host uploading images free image uploading upload a picture free image uploader upload a gif Thanks for looking
PlaStix
Absolutely fantastic project! The weathering and wear-n-tear effects on the vehicle look real. Really well done!

JackG
Very keen work, and the worn paint effects appear quite believable. Careful of the inner tires, in second photo, something looks incomplete? regards, jack

Silver Fox
What I especially like about this one is the realistic poses of the figures that really complement the vehicle and tell a story rather than looking as an afterthought.
HL-10
Glad you like the little thing! Careful of the inner tires, in second photo, something looks incomplete? regards, jack Jack, I used very thin washes of light tan/buff built up with multiple cotes to try and get a dusty look. What you see in that picture is where the washes have pooled and formed a heavy cote of the tan paint
Alpha Delta 210
Hi I absolutely love it! My late father drove these in the Household Cavalry post-war, and I was fortunate enough to drive a preserved one at a military vehicle show thanks to a very generous owner a few years ago. My Dad was not mechanically-minded at all, and actually preferred the equine elements of the Household Cavalry, but he thoroughly enjoyed driving the Dingo (at high speed in reverse gear!), as much as in forward gears and also spoke very fondly of the Bren Gun that I note in your beautiful model. I bought all the Mini Art variants, but for some inexplicable reason, have not plucked up the courage to build any of them! Was it a straightforward build, and do you have any "in progress" pictures or general build tips, as your fine model has spurred me on to build (at least) one of mine as a tribute to my Dad?
Parabat
Very nice, the weathering is particularly very impressive.
HL-10
Alpha Delta, thank you for your comments It is a fairly straightforward kit, but please take care around the suspension! I messed up and had to dismantle and re-build because I put the suspension arms on upside down Also take care with the etched parts. They are very thin, and distort easily. Its a lovely little kit and I have the European version to build as well

Buzby061
Top job. I bought the crew separately, the seated one will be perched on my Roden Rolls Royce armoured car when I finish it. Pete
