tommy1drop
This is a new dio I building, it involves a pak gun(or something similar) set in a square with 2 buildings and a park entrance, for the buildings I will be using two Miniart buildings, the park entrance are items from Great North Roads, along with a lot of cobbles that are made from a mold from Diorama Debris, so far this is where the dio is at, hope you like it so far

DAG058
I can tell already, this is going to be spectacular! How long have you spent on them cobbles? You should do drive-ways on the side for a bit of cash!

tommy1drop
A bit more of the same (paving) this is where the dio is at, as you can see more paving has been laid with more to followI`m starting the buildings, some internal work inside the buildings to show bomb damage etc and some paving, I`m thinking of doing the paving in cork rather than plaster, but that could change depending on how look the cork paving turns outAnyway thats it for now, hope you like it so far Next batch, 220 of them, although they want go very far Waiting for the cuts The end is almost near

tommy1drop
Another little update on the dio (cant stop now ) as you can see from the pics, I dug up a section to make it look less boringI`m thinking of adding under ground drainage, I wanted to make that area look as if a shell had exploded leaving a crater exposing the drainage, well thats the idea anyway

vppelt68
"Like" is too mild expression :-) This could be used in builders' education (that I do part time, too)

tommy1drop
Up date on the slabbing, I started the park area as this is the smallest area to be done, I wanted to see what the cork slabbing would look like, so this area got started first, as you can see the slabbing is done from cork, this is then filed around the edges and distressed to give them a worn look, plaster watered down will then be spread using a small brush to give the slabs a texture...hope it works out
