TME3
The UK Empire Test Pilot School uses a single SAAB Gripen apparently to train pilots.... The airplane has a blue vertical stabilizer, with a gold griffin or lion above the initials ETPS... Can anyone tell me if the symbol represents the type of airplane... or the school...? Thanks.... BritJet
The Griffin comes from the ETPS crest; Several other aircraft have variations of the Griffin as part of their colour scheme. BTW there are/were two Gripens used by ETPS but I believe only the one was painted in that scheme. hth Steve
