heloman1
ICM 1/35 Renault AHN. This will be built as a post war civil French truck with an open bed, perhaps like this or this. Great choice Jurgen, I'm sure you'll do your usual magic and turn it into something stunning. Colin

rs2man
The most recent one that I've bought was the AMT/Ertl Boyd Coddington American Hotrod 1932 Ford Coupe , which I acquired from Ebay the other week . It was something of a surprise because it wasn't the kit I was expecting . I was aware that AMT have produced a 32 5-window coupe for many years & assumed it was going to be that , though modified since the roof had been chopped . In fact , it was neither AMT nor Ertl but an MPC kit . It's the kit which formed the basis for MPC's John Milner's Yellow Deuce Coupe from More American Grafitti and , like that kit , has a chassis which bears no resemblence at all to anything that ever sat under a 32 Ford . Rather a disappointment .

ptcruiser
....Are the '33 Ford and the Mustang from Australia????? Roy. nope, both from the US of A, $15 each. The '33 is the same plastic as the ZZ Top release. I believe Lindberg were the only ones to release the '71. It hasn't had good reviews but can form a sound basis. Rich edit: I see what you mean Roy!!! They were the right way up when I posted them!! Edited October 8, 2014 by ptcruiser

Albeback52
Actually, none whatsoever ! My main interest IS Wingy Thingys . However,I recently picked up (among other items)an Esci 1/9 Scale Kettenkrad (does that count as a bike?) and, an Airfix 1/12 Bentley. Of all places, I discovered them at a car boot sale!. I really fancied the big Bentley especially when I was younger but could never afford it. . Guy that was selling them had a good selection of wheely thingy kits but, these were the two that really caught my eye!. No, I am NOT turning to the dark side but, I like an occasional change of direction. I have also recently acquired one other wheely thing & that was the big Revell 1/24 8 x 8 Simba fire engine. D1fuN0
Steve Does it have a louvered bonnet or smooth? Thanks Rich Hiya Rich. Im not entirely sure, but ill check at the weekend when im home again. I think its smooth. S
ptcruiser
Cheers Steve. The original white metal version was a replica of NUB120 and featured the louvered bonnet. When it switched to a plastic shell in either Revell and/or Aoshima guise they smoothed out the bonnet. You will still find NUB 120 on the number plate on the sprue! I'm not sure whether it was smoothed out whilst in the metal version. Needless to say I want a louvered one and my attempts to make one have been shabby.
