Morning Chaps :bye:

Man that Mazda looks nice Homer :)

Latest purchase is the Aoshima Lamborghini Sesto Elemento which a friend has bought in for me...

Not a huge fan of modern cars, but after making a start on the Aventador Roadster, I must say i'm actually quite looking forward to it...

Morning Mad Steve :bye:

I looked at buying the Aoshima Lamborghini Sesto Elemento but shape in the pics on HLJ looked a bit odd so I got scared off lol :yikes:

Latest irresistible bargains. The Belkits Escort is one of a pair as I bought both versions. Not sure which one will be built as per box art but the Profil 24 Ford P68 gives a clue to what will happen with the other Escort :coolio:

The Ferrari F1 cars should build up ok. I'll be getting replacement decals for both kits from Michael at Indycals.

Steve.

That's a terrific haul there Steve, some cracking kits there.

I have to say I do love my wife (sometimes). This morning after breakfast she dragged these out of the car for me

I do now feel a little afraid as to the reason why she did this but I will find out in time I suppose

Have never bought a bike kit, haven't bought a car kit in the last 40 years. Last car was probably the Monogram Dusenberg Torpedo Phaeton. Well, you did ask!

Quick... check her shoe cupboard! There'll probably be a couple of new boxes containing tall boots "in the sale" or Jimmy Choos that she was able to sneak in while your attention was diverted by the styrene...

bestest,

M.

Shaun you'll be on edge all day now

I'm just waiting for how much blood I have to give for these "treats" but I'm pretty sure I will be doing something I don't want to over the next few days or it could possibly be for putting up with going to ikea then having to master brain surgery to put the stuff she bought together, but I'm betting on option 1 lol

I'm quite lucky as shoes are her vice, there could be the possibility that she about to start though as apart from birthdays or Christmas she never buys me kits during the year. It's the old only on your birthday routine lol

Just got the Haynes Ferrari 250 GTO manual to help with my 1/8 scratch build.

Blinkin' BRILLIANT book.

I was surprised to see the current 'keeper' of my last few giant scratch builds in there...

Roy.

Cool...hope you'll find it useful! Felt a bit patronizing suggesting it as I thought you'd already have it! :)

Can you imaging the marketing department's discussions at Haynes .....

"There have been 5,387,862 Minis produced and many of the owners

would be the kind of person who would want or need to do their own maintenance;

this books should sell well."

"What about producing a D.I.Y. manual for the Ferrari 250GTO and their owners?"

"How many were produced?" .......... "39". Hmmmmmmmmmm :D :D
