roymattblack
If you want to get down to 1/43 scale: SMTS.... Just about every version of the C Type, D Type and E Type Jaguar ever built. Ditto Aston Martin, and lots of obscure ones such as the 'Knobbly' Lister Jaguar, Jowett etc. Roy.
marc
Richard Griffiths produces the knobbly lister in 24th and a Lola, both very nice resin kits
Caerbannog
Not sure if i overlooked it here: Lotus Esprit S1 (or was it S2?) 1:24 Gunze/Airfix Morris Minor Traveller - box scale - about 1:38 - Revell Rene
czechnavy
Didn't FROG also produce some British cars? Never owned any - perhaps they were not to 1/32nd scale as with the selection of Airfix cars I had and perhaps more expensive!
roymattblack
Frog did a lovely Morris 1100 in 1/16 scale. Daft money now but I'd love to get one - it was my first car... Roy.
cmatthewbacon
Doh! FROG... How did I forget! There's even someone building a Victor (or maybe Viva) Estate over on UAMF at the moment. And didn't they do an E-Type and Commer (or maybe Austin) ambulance as well? Bestest, M.

griffsrw
a capri mk2 was also done in 1/25 scale by i think amt, got 3 of them here built, that's why i can't be sure who did them. heller did an early version of the rover sd1 in 1/43, a very crisp moulding i seem to recall. i remember my dad bought me an airfix monty's humber, i was gutted and asked him to change it for something a bit sporty. (nothing changes !) scalecraft in south africa did a nice resin riley elf transkit too. Edited September 22, 2014 by griffsrw

Rob G
Ooh, Tamiya did a Group 5 Capri touring car racer in 24th iirc (I don't recall seeing it mentioned). And Mr Shelby wouldn't have been able to make the Cobra without AC starting it off, so he can just suck it up, peeved or not.

Richard Humm
In 1/24 scale, the Imai/Aoshima/Revell Austin FX4 taxi must be a British classic car. Stretching the point slightly, the Heller (later also issued by Revell) 1/24 scale BMW Dixi is a LHD licence-built Austin 7. German made (Zackspeed) car very loosely based on a car originally made by Ford Europe though, so don't think it counts!

Pete in Lincs
That Zakspeed Capri. Yes please. The Revell Healey. I have the remains of one here that I built decades ago. cmatthewbacon
Updated list at the top, including everyone's contributions so far . Thanks, all! I'm not proposing to include 1/43, and I haven't wandered off down the by-ways of dedicated racing cars, either. If someone wanted to compile a list of Lolas, Cooper Climax's, McLarens etc, that'd be great, but that's not THIS list! bestest, M.
