triumphfan
I have most of the Merit car kits including the afore mentioned. They also did a lovely kit of the Connaught Type B I managed to get the rather simple but accurately outlined kit to this standard.
Panoz
Doh! FROG... How did I forget! There's even someone building a Victor (or maybe Viva) Estate over on UAMF at the moment. And didn't they do an E-Type and Commer (or maybe Austin) ambulance as well? Bestest, M. Back in the early 90s I bought a kit of a 1/16 scale Mark I Cortina from a Russian merchant at a local farmers market. http://www.scalemates.com/products/product.php?id=181314 Only years later I found out that it was originally by Frog... Presumably that's where the rest of the 1/16 auto tooling went??? And BTW that Heller BL Princess was a very nice kit, thought I've always wanted to know what the Heller team was smoking when they were choosing the 1/43 scale auto subjects. (VW K-70 , Peugeot 604 (ditto), Renault 30 (likewise)) No one was so far mentioned the AMT Capri II in 1/25 scale: Ah and the Monogram Land Rover is 1/24 scale... And last but not least the infamous Monogram wedge: "Oh, no! They've done it on this side too!"

The Cameraman
Oh my.... I didnt even know they did the Capri II in 24th Scale (anyone have one for sellies) TR7 - ding ding, did they not also do the TR8 with the V8 engine, also mongram / Revell Steve Hi MAd Steve, I remember seeing Tony Pond's wonderful TR7 V8, in the 1980 RAC Rally suffering damage after hitting a feeding station in the lions enclosure at Longleat! I next saw him at the 1983 Manx Rally (always my favourite event), where he was in the Rover Vitesse, and it dropped a drive shaft. Then when I was at the first stage at the 1984 RAC, his crashed his Rover Vitesse! The following year (I think) he was in the stunning Metro 6R4, where I saw him come third in the RAC. Great memories of cars that made proper noises but the greatest sounding Rally cars of all time, to me have to be; 3, in third place the wonderful Ford Escort 2, in second l'd place the amazing Metro 6R4 1, but in first place, there can only be the Audi Quattro S1! Sorry, I need to have a moment to myself now!!!! Regards Reggie

cmatthewbacon
...the way most of the urban legends get told, the problem with injection moulding tooling seems to be that it DOESN'T float... ;-P I must get on with editing all the recent updates into the big list... including the Aoshima boxing of the XK120... bestest, M.
JamesP
Just seen the Aurora TR3 sprues and definitely not the same as the Lindberg kit, a lot better more on par with their AH3000.
choc-ice
If you were watching TV in the '70s you probably weren't far away from these, 1:32 scale bodyshells (for slotcar chassis)
Bengalensis
I forgot about this one when I posted the Reliant earlier; here's a Ginetta G4 in 1/24 scale resin from Japan, also quite rare I think. I've had it for a few years now but only learnt who the maker is/was the other day; "Hobby House Star Dust" apparently.
triumphfan
A rare car in real life let alone 1/24 scale. Looks to be of good quality too, you lucky man. Steve.
