I've purchased another one - to convert it into the undercarriage-less VTOL ASW version that Bartini originally intended it to be.....

Hi Ken

Modelsvit (who are in Ukraine) postet that they stopped production, but their warehouse in Bulgaria is full and deliveries will continue.

Interesting! Thanks

https://www.modelsvit-eshop.com

They list the VVA-14 experimental amphibious aircraft as back in stock.

Besides Modelsvit, they also sell a number of other Ukrainian kits (from SOVA and A&A)

Modelsvits eshop is run from

MODELSVIT BALKANS LTD

2А "Blagovest" Str, 4003 Plovdiv, Bulgaria

Plovdiv is also the location of the Bulgarian AF museum and well worth a visit - it can be done as a daytrip by train from Sofia.

Great news - but it's a bit late for me - I've already done the conversion....

As it was originally meant to look like - with 12 lift engines........

It looks like Modelsvit include the collapsible floats - but not the lift engines...
