Fly Models 1/32 Wessex HC.2 & HU.5

I hope these are test shot pics. but if not, I'm going to be nit picky. The top section of the MRH (top sprue pic second item from the left) is ill definied the bonnet in the centre is the reservoir for the blade damper fluid and is quite pronounced as are the four bearing housings on each arm. The detail on the main u/c legs look soft, however take note of the nose pitot for a HAS Mk3 top left... I do like the rear face of the main wheels, nice brake calliper detail.

Don't mean to hijack, but is there any news on their 1/32 Hurricane ?

I tried emailing them but got fouled up somehow.

Thanks

Fly 1/32nd Hurricane dedicated thread is here: http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234974701-132-hawker-hurricane-mkiic-iic-trop-by-fly-box-art/

I normally model in 1/72 and am actively trying to get rid of all my 1/32 because of space issues.( though I wonder if 1/32 is

popular any more as nobody seems to want them!) This looks like it could have to be an exception, The many time I saw the Wessex at RAF Manston is just to much of a cherished memory,

It's getting better but I'm not wholey convinced it that much better thah what italeri have offered us. Sorry!

Colin

I think it will certainly be better, just how much better remains to be sen and being 1/32 opens it up to a whole new level of detailing. However, I do agree with you regarding the reservoir on top of the head - not good at all. I just checked the latest photo's on fly's website - they have a built up rotor head and it does look really nice - apart from the reservoir and the fact that they seem to have completely missed the BIM's

Maybe we could point the guy in the right direction before it's too late. I know a BM'er has pointed out his bloops with the decals and version being incorrect. The Fly guy was most appreciative.
