Recommended Posts

Hi folks, well third time lucky after two bin jobs I have finished my first 1/48 kit for two years! Bought for seven quid at my local

air museum it came with a base and motor for the prop.A really stress free fun build as you would expect even for an older

Tamiya kit used maskol for the paint wear effect http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234966729-rising-sun-raiden/

hope this link works to the WIP.Thanks for looking.SDC12156_zps9b60df60.jpgSDC12157_zpsa471110c.jpgSDC12158_zps8d76bb43.jpgSDC12159_zps26ccb92d.jpgSDC12160_zpse88f89dc.jpgSDC12161_zpsee05fd03.jpgSDC12162_zpsd9783ce2.jpgSDC12163_zps82d429b9.jpgSDC12165_zps1f802273.jpgSDC12167_zps14caf2b1.jpg

Was that bought from the museum at Usworth? Looking good by the way.

It was indeed Sean, they have some interesting kits both new and donated some real gems at reasonable prices.

Very nice. Only thing I noticed was the canopy frame has no chipping.

Yea, it has a small amount but the photo,s have shown more needed I have a couple of touch ups to do before it heads upstairs to the shelf

so I.ll add a bit with a silver pencil.
