Looks like it could be an expensive Telford if you have them by then.

post #92 says it's on pre-order on a US website (judging from the reference to postage to the "lower 48 States" anyway) and the MSRP is $69.99, although to be fair they are selling it for $10 less.

Put into a currency convertor online the near 70 dollars price tag equals to £45.82.

If true then sorry to rain on the parade of those (including myself) who were hoping for something more in the £25-£35 range.

Dear Mr. ASHLEY (Blackbird Models), thanks for your kind interest and cooperation.

Dear Forum Members;

We are very happy to share detailed pictures of our new kit which has been designed and prepared exclusively for you.
We have performed a test build and we are pleased to report that there are no fit problems. Especially, the mating surfaces on the fuselage to fuselage and the joint surfaces between the fuselage and wings, which are perfect. The canopy and other clear parts are also flawless.
We are, however, planning to correct some very minor issues detected during the test shot within a week. Then, mass production will commence.
Our kit will be ready for distribution by the end of this month or during the first week of October.
Thank you for your interest.
Regards,

Vingtor Decals will indeed be available at Telford, with decals for Norwegian Thunderflashes. We will be around the IPMS Overseas area rather than the Harrier SIG.

Looks very interesting. That surface detail reminds me of the Revell MIG-21 F-13 from some years ago.

Incidentally, I built models of all the NATO operators of the RF and F-84 swept wing variants using the Italeri and Airfix kits to 1/72nd and any aftermarket decals that were produced at the time. The only ones left I have are a couple RF versions
