Brandy
Codger, there hasn't been any progress! Having said that, I really would like to get back onto it, so maybe when I get the RE8 finished.... Ian

Pouln
I second that. Do it for us, Ian.... OK, also a bit for yourself.
Jnkm13
I have fitted the shocks (those designed by Ian, purchased from Shapeways). The fit is perfect. I just cut the mounts from the original kit shocks and used them with the replacement shocks. A brass rod was drilled into the mounts and the shocks just slip into place. One thing to note is that the shocks will need substantial sanding to smooth them out. This is just the nature of 3D printed parts. I thought they were smooth after the first round of sanding with 400 grit, but the primer reveals all! Anyway, many thanks to Ian who made these parts available as they enhance the kit tremendously. There was no way I could have scratch built the shocks. Regards, Jeremy
Brandy
Excellent news Jeremy! I still haven't got around to fitting mine so to hear that they fit perfectly is great news indeed! Ian
