UR-DWF by Totallyrad.co.uk, on FlickrUR-DWF An-12BK by Totallyrad.co.uk, on FlickrUR-DWF An-12BK by Totallyrad.co.uk, on Flickrand then a quick dash over to East Midlands for a rare Russian An-26, RA-26142, not knowing UR-CJN was on the ground too. First two shot through a fence and I was ridiculously tired so these aren't the best, not forgetting light was dropping very quickly!UR-CJN An-12 by Totallyrad.co.uk, on FlickrRA-26142 An-26B by Totallyrad.co.uk, on Flickr then I made the choice of sticking on my 100mm prime for the An-26, using 12,800iso to give me a faster shutter speed, I wish I'd stuck my x2 teleconvertor on now though giving me a bit more reach.RA-26142 An-26B by Totallyrad.co.uk, on FlickrRA-26142 An-26B by Totallyrad.co.uk, on Flickr Then as I was leaving I tried once more for this using a different spot. Hasn't come out to bad, but not the sharpest.UR-CJN An-12 by Totallyrad.co.uk, on Flickr Until next time, thanks for looking.

Snitok1983
Cool! I have been always impressed by the Antons landing trace! By the way that is not An-26 that is An-24 (haven't navigators blister at the nose section port side)
Radleigh
Thanks guys. By the way that is not An-26 that is An-24 (haven't navigators blister at the nose section port side) My understanding that it is a An-26B, as is many other Aviation sites > Linky
Snitok1983
Hi! You are wright! At this close photo from your link see the traces of the demounted blister. Perhaps that is the civil conversion of the ex- military a/c. Cause the 26-th is just the mill version of the 24-th vith some adds Thanks! Radleigh
Absolutely gutted to read that UR-DWF photographed above crashed in North Africa killing all on board. RIP to the crew. http://en.interfax.com.ua/news/general/220835.html
ForestFan
Cheers for the photos Rad, very charismatic these old Russian birds! Sorry to hear about the crash :-( btw I recommend reading Outlaws Inc by Matt Potter for an insight in to the work of these old cargo aircraft and their crews.
