johndon
I tend to sway between building 1/350th scale warships and model railways. For the last 12 months I've been working on a small (4' * 20") layout in P4 as a bit of a practice for hand building track. Here are a few pics, all the buildings are scratch built and all the locos have been detailed, weathered and converted to 18.83mm gauge track: John
Longhorn
Great detailing and a very tired looking 56!
johndon
Thanks for that, the 56 is the old Mainline version and is a non runner although it has received a set of P4 wheels so it can be towed or used in double heading. Still need to add the sand pipes and all the bufferbeam details. John
stringbag
Very nice indeed. One of those pictures that make you look twice just to confirm it is a scale model. Chris.
zero
Lovely work, stunning weathering. I'm working on a n gauge layout myself hope it looks half as stunning as your work so far. Dave
AndyC
Very impressive - I was a EM gauge would-be-modeller at one stage...

Bordfunker
That's lovely. The track looks spot on, and I love the well worn 56. Karl

'V'
Very nice - P4 is some commitment !! Once thought about it, but decided to stay 16.5 Why would I want scale track when everything else I did was .... errrr ... slightly inaccurate ! johndon
Thanks for the comments, they are very much appreciated and apologies for the delay in replying, I've been otherwise engaged for a few weeks. Roomey - I saw Farkham last year, very nice work. As for this layout, I have an open invitation to exhibit at Scalefour North once it is finished but no other plans at the minute.
