Ozzy
There is a little poetic license with this project, this was my inspatation. This is the 98th field regiment (Surrey and Sussex yeomanry) Italy 1943. It's portraying firing off the line of March, a quick fire mission, unlike the painting with a Battery Command Post halftrack with the Gun line in the distance, I put it all together and came up with this. What I used; Grey oasis Tamiya texture paint, grass effect green and dark earth Woodland senics grass FG 173 Woodland senics fine leaf foliage F1133 MIG products; concrete P026, European dust P028, light European dust P415 Calk stones from my garden Joefix 126 green grass strips Dragon halftrack 6332 Dragon 25pdr 6774 Bronco gunners CB 35108 Resin 25pdr ammo tins resicast Turned brass Cartridge cases Royal Artillery in Italy Bison Decals 35090 A bandage Bits out my spares box [/url]=http://s1050. JohnT
OzzyThat has made my day. I don't do armour but really admire these dioramas and that one looks a cracker to me. LovelyJohn edit - just had another look at this on a big screen and even more impressed than before. The sheen on the guys leather jerkin made me think straight away of the one in the attic that my Dad brought back. Brilliant
