CliffB
Not much done today, but still moving in the right direction 1) Windscreen fabricated and fitted.. (Please ignore the tatty paint on the struts and the wayward rust pigments!) 2) Upper wing glued to cabane struts Cheers Cliff

CliffB
OK, it's time to say 'enough' on the Ansaldo and declare it finished for the GB. In reality it needs a little more rigging on the front end, but this is unfortunately not going to happen before 11th. Hopefully this won't detract too much from the build There will be/are a couple more photos in the gallery. Thank you dazdot for being a very attentive host - much appreciated. Thanks also to everyone who commented and 'liked' I must admit though to feeling a bit depressed by it all - I guess it's because it's Remembrance Sunday (if you know what I mean) Cheers Cliff

AdrianMF
I finally dug out a picture of the real thing at Genoa airport, but it's a single seater: Taken in 2002. Regards, Adrian
CliffB
Thanks Adrian, that's a great photo - looks like I should have gone a bit darker on the wood! Still, I've got an SVA5 (the single seat one), lurking in my stash. so no excuses next time Cheers Cliff
