Mike V
Probably a case of the jet sticking its nose where the radome is. Should have my Parts in hand in a couple weeks. Been waiting for this version for a while. Mike V

Serkan Sen
Oh, no!.. That happened again... When I intend to build a model which was not available on market at that time, appearing suddenly when I close to finish my modification. Grrrrr... I have used Kinetic F-16A/B NSAWC and Skunkworks F-16XL Ship 1 for this conversion. 👷♂️ The result is not too bad, isn't it? Serkan

I have Ship 1 waiting in sealed box for its turn 🙂 Also Revell 1:72 F-16C Based XL-1 and XL-2 conversions are still in progress. May be at some point I can achieve to finish all these kits waiting on bench before my retirement (in next 20 years) ... Cheers Serkan

I have started to build Su-30MKM/MKI & T-10UBM-1 and very close to end. But Zvezda had announced that this kit will be released in 2019... İf you want to have a special kit version which is not available in the market let me know to make it released... 😁 Serkan Edited March 28, 2019 by Serkan Sen

Serkan I was considering the same 2 seat conversion then I heard they were actually going to release the 2 seat version, so that ended my attempt. Nice work you've done this far and do finish it. One of the key differences between standard 2 seat F-16 and the 2 seat XL canopy, is the aft hinge frame is thicker for XL II. I had already extended this on my attempt. Maybe I can take into account this in my 1:72 conversion. Cheers Serkan

Mike V
I can pull up my refs when I get home later this evening. Meanwhile, here is my FB post. I have my F-16XL II kits in hand. I was supposed to have a sample a month ago.
Vingtor
Sometimes it pays off being a late starter. I have not started my planned XL-2 conversion yet. And now, I have of course ordered the new 2-seater kit... Nils
