1:48 Hasegawa A-7E, VA-86 Sidewinders

Recommended Posts

I've been working on this one for the better part of the last couple of months. This is the Hasegawa 1:48 A-7E with the following add-ons:

  • Rhino seamless intake
  • Areo-Master decal markings
  • Eduard color PE for the IP
  • unkown maker of resin seat
  • I also used the Eduard masks to get the canopy and windscreen double-masked.

Looks good sitting next to the VA-86 F/A-18C in my display case! (Now to track down some VA-86 decals for the A-4!)

That's very, very nice indeed. I love the Corsair II.

Did it start life as a "Colourful CAG Bird"?

I've got one of these to look forward to myself, but I won't be able to emulate that quality!
