markp58
So who felt a bit cheated when they opened up their new Trumpeter Whirlwind kit and found that there was nothing to hang off the bomb racks? Well your disappointment is short lived. We've just taken delivery of several sets of 250lb and 500lb bombs in 1/48 scale, ideal for your Whirlwind, Typhoon, Hurricane or other RAF WW2 type. They'll be on the site soon but we hope to give them their first airing at Thornbury this weekend. You get two of each type in one set, four bombs in all. We've got them available in 1/72 scale too. Price £2.50 per set. It's also your last chance to preorder Airframe & Minaiture No 7-The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 Radial-engine versions and save £2.00 on P&P and save even more before postage on the book has to be adjusted upwards. We'd calculated postage on a 192 page book and it is now 224 pages thick with TWO sets of scale plans. There are over 40 pages of isometric drawings of all variants (190+!), some stunning kit builds by Libor Jekl, Steve Evans and Daniel Zamarbide plus Richard Caruana's excellently drawn profiles. If you are a Fw 190 junkie you won't want to miss this. See you all on Sunday.
Shar2
Ooh! Like the sound of the bomb set, unfortunately I can't make it to Thornbury. So will have to ask my mate Dave to get a set for me.

No worries. We'll be there all day, Hurricane Bertha willing.

One of the first to avail himself of a set of bombs. Many thanks for the business.
