Solo
I have pleasure to show you my new model: F-14A Tomcat from Academy. It was really nice work on this model, although it has some minor errors and defects, but it was rather easy to fix it. This Academy's Tomcat has good fittings, nice details and really nice decals by Cartograf. I have added Eduard's AIM-54C Phoenix missiles, as well as pair of Sidewinders (AIM-9L/M) and three Sparrows (AIM-7E). Weapon's configuration is not so usual I believe. I also added ejection seats GRU-7A from Aires and probes from Master. I made on my own some sensors, as well as landing gear wires, landing gear bay's wires and some stuff there, few lights, and some other stuff (inside cockpit, missiles ect.). For the first time I tried to wash modern jet (gray colour, no camouflage), so I tried to perform ale the dirt you can see on real Tomcats. I hope I succeeded. Ok, here you can see some pictures. Spad
Now that is extraordinarily nice - excellent finishing. Plenty of weathering but by no means too much - nicely restrained. Thanks for showing.

Solo
I am really sorry, I made mistake - this is of course Academy model, not Hasegawa. I have just changed this topic. ACADEMY, not Hasegawa!

Solo
I used Gunze C315 - the main body colour of model. But also I added wash (oil paints): black, dark blue and dark brown.
