johnd
Hello all... I searched around looking for the correct colour for British bombs (in particular 1000lb HC, but for any late war bombs really). I found a consensus that they were bronze green and bought a bottle of Vallejo 'Model Color' acrylic 70.897 Bronze Green. It looks a bit dark and a bit too green - have I got the right colour? Thanks, John.

Thanks, John. I use Xtracolour X815 Middle Bronze Green which is the Modern Equivalent.( Modern code BS 381C 223) Deep Bronze Green is the current Colour of British bombs so don't get confused. (Modern code BS 381C 224) Colour changed along with the markings of British Bombs (to NATO Standard) from 1964 onwards. Selwyn
johnd
Ah...looks like the Vallejo colour is a better match for 224 than 223. I'll see if I can lighten it. Thanks, John.
