thepureness
Just came across this gem on academy's website. http://www.academy.co.kr/eng/1p/1p_plaview.asp?pView=PLA0000001&pCode=1127&pScale=SCALE00003 OD-NG B-29s do look quite smart, and with Cartograf decals i'm sure it will be a good kit

robvulcan
Stash worthy indeed Yes they do. I have to be honest I have never seen them in green and was not keen on the silver. But having seen it in green I am converted
Navy Bird
Looks very nice indeed, I always did have a fondness for the OD schemes. Especially on such a big canvas. I can definitely see Hump Happy Pappy in my future - and thank the almighty that Academy is now using Cartograf for their decals! No more gallons of decal solvent in a vain attempt to get an Academy decal to snuggle down into a panel line. Cheers, Bill
Gumbie Air Services
Great to see it back. I'll grab a couple of these, 'Lady Boomerang' and 'Esso Express' will be mine.
woody37
I got an Academy kit with the view of doing a Washington as part of the Bomber Command Sig line up, but I do wish they weren't silver, perhaps I could do a what if in Camo on mine!

Richard E
Already listed as a future release on Hannants' website - get thee behind me temptation! Edited August 2, 2014 by Richard E
Truro Model Builder
Looks like there will be the possibility of a Washington B.1 appearing on the bench at some time then. That'll please SWMBO no end. Good on Academy for bringing out a B-29 with several olive drab/neutral grey options. Makes a refreshing change.
