Cpt_Farrel
Hello! I'm planning to build a Hasegawa Hurricane and I want to finish it as a Hurricane from 56 Squadron so I'm looking for any info or photos of 56 Squadron during the Battle of Britain. A Google search didn't yield much. I know about US-Z flown by Flt.Lt.(?) Gracie but I want an aircraft with either a black spinner or de Havilland one. I seem to recall some film clips of 56 Squadron as well, if anyone has an idea where I might find those it would also be much appreciated. Thanks in advance / Anders

Cpt_Farrel
Thanks! Much appreciated. I'm pretty sure there's more material, perhaps filmed at the same occasion, but there's some really nice shots in this one too.
AndyL
Better, longer version for you... http://www.britishpathe.com/video/fighter-station-scramble/query/spitfire Edited July 30, 2014 by AndyL
Troy Smith
Better, longer version for you... http://www.britishpathe.com/video/fighter-station-scramble/query/spitfire Very interesting Andy as I tend to disable my flash player as it stops a lot of ads, I then noticed this http://www.britishpathe.com/video/stills/fighter-station-scramble which is easier to look through! The coloured spinners are very interesting. Which makes you wonder if they were all in flight colours? And I was amused at P3153 US-U, named 'Euthanasia' seen clearly at still 14, see still 140, 142 and 144 for clear shots of the name!
