Alpha Delta 210
Hi I had planned for this to be a weekend build whilst my wife was watching the Wimbledon Finals. The construction was pretty much concluded during the very short Ladies Finals, and the painting was completed during the Mens, but I then got distracted by three days at RIAT... I finished her off yesterday and I am quite pleased with the result. Having looked at the pictures however, I think that I need to deal with the pitot probe, which is rather small (even with my glasses on. The build thread is here. And for scale, here are a couple of pictures with my Hasegawa 1/200 C-47 Skytrain! Thanks for looking.
Parabat
Fantastic plane, fantastic build. A real little piece of history and nice to see it next to your C-47 - it brings it home as to how big a plane it is. Nice work on a sleek and deadly plane.
Mike DeTorrice
This one looks remarkable ! A terrific model of one of the most amazing and beautiful planes of all time. The final image certainly brings her tremendous size (and a mere 25 years of aircraft evolution) into eye-opening perspective. Mike

Viking
Fascinating plane, love the comparison with the DC-3! Imagine if it had gone into service, a maintenance nightmare of epic proportions, surely. Cheers John
woody37
Never realised it was that big, seeing that at an airshow would of been impressive! Lovely build and great comparison with the C-47
Alpha Delta 210
Thanks for all the really kind words, guys. The Valkyrie certainly is a beautiful aeroplane, but to my eye, not as beautiful as Concorde! (Coincidentally, my wife did think it was Concorde, as I was building it!) Latinbear
That's a super finish on the Valkyrie! The C47 is a minnow by comparison. What a shame the Valkyrie never entered service.
Snitok1983
Looks great! Now I see the scale is not a problem for a rel modelist!

Alpha Delta 210
Thanks mate. She certainly was an awesome and ambitious machine! The XB-70 in the R&D Hanger at Dayton is a bit like the B-52 in the American Air Museum at Duxford - dominant!
RNoAF Aerobatic Team
Outstanding result on the finish! I really like it.

Alpha Delta 210
Thanks guys! A nice quick (ish!) build that went together well, although the USAF decals on the wings were supplied as separate letters, which bemused me!!
robvulcan
That is a sight for sore eyes. Beautiful. I must try this kit. The Cyberhobby 1/200 scale kits are great fun
Alpha Delta 210
Thanks Rob. I have a couple of the Cyber Hobby Vulcans that I might need to dig out from the bottom of the pile!
