Les Moore
This is #17 for the year. I had built the same kit in different livery by Academy a couple years ago, so I knew what to expect. In fact 99% of the decals are left over from that kit. It represents a bird from VF-11 off of the USS Coral Sea circa 1956. Hope you like it.
Pat C
I certainly do like your "big" Banshee. You don't see this kit made very often. I have done the Airfix one, and have the Sword kit in the stash but would like to do this one now as well! Pat

NavDoc
Are those decals on the canopy ? Those markings really brighten up the old overall blue scheme !
Les Moore
Yes...there is a red surround that forms an anti-glare panel (if you will) and then there are the 1/32 white stripes. The three windows in front all have the 1/32 striping as does the "bubble" part of the canopy. Glad you liked it. riffraff... I'll keep my eyes open for your completed post. Eric Mc
Always liked the Banshee - especially after reading the book "The Bridges at Toko Ri".
