Jinxman
Hi, Here are my favourites from a slightly depleted line up at IWM Duxford, caused by some rainy days prior to the show. Thanks for looking and hope you like 'em..
Paul J
Stunning pics! Clearly you were there for the Saturday. I went Sunday and the weather wasn't brilliant and so the P-26 didn't fly due to crosswinds!
F-32
Outstanding work! I went on the Sunday, shame the Peashooter couldn't fly, but still a very enjoyable show with some seriously low passes by the Hellcat. Love the head on Spit shot with the two Spits in the background

Alpha Delta 210
Some truly stunning shots with some very creative cropping - well done.
Pagey
Overall a good day, but I was disappointed that we didn't have the following attend (although advertised); P-38 Lightning 2 x corsairs 2 x JU-52'S 2 x Mustangs (one arrived late in the afternoon and didn't go up again) the avenger, I thought the final Balbo was quite weak too. It started off great with the 11 Spits and the Mustangs chasing the buchons was good. Just felt disappointed towards the end as a lot of aircraft I was looking forward to seeing didn't show. I thought the £35 entrance fee was a bit steep too. Edited July 14, 2014 by Pagey
bentwaters81tfw
Considering the poor weather over Europe, I'm not surprised at the no shows. Rain and a low cloudbase all over the Low countries, I was there. It's a shame but rules and safety etc.

Have to agree, in fact I'd go as far as to say that it is possibly the best picture I've ever seen of Sally B...
rmcclure
Some of the others have said it already but that B17 shot is fantastic. I can't repeat the words I used when I started scrolling down and that came up! Really excellent. Cheers, Roger

I was at Duxford a couple of weeks ago and got some close-up shots of the Martlet and Hellcat with their panels off and wings folded..... good to see them in the air where they belong
Jinxman
hi all, Thank you for the very kind and generous comments - despite a few bits and pieces not turning up through no fault of the organisers the two days flying were great. Hopefully the no-shows will come next year. The flying displays seemed more dynamic on the Saturday - perhaps the heavier winds on Sunday had something to do with this? hi Longhorn, All the flying stuff apart from Sally B were shot with a Nikon D2Xs & 500mm (Saturday), and the statics and B17 were with the D2Xs and a 200-400mm (Sunday). cheers & thanks for looking..
