Homebee
Kiwi Resin (http://skygodnz.wix.com/kiwiresin) is to release a 1/48th North American F-86A Sabre resin conversion set - ref.? Source: http://www.network54.com/Forum/149674/message/1404446093/Kiwi+Resin+1-48+F-86A+Sabre+conversion+master+shots Progress to date, Canopy not shown as I am still struggling with it, Ive made a second master, which I am happier with, I just need to frame it up. If life doesnt get in the way I will be delivering mid next week to customers. All feedback is appreciated. I have devised a simple way to make the wing cuts, so the modeller need not be too concerned about the cutting part of the conversion V.P. Biggles87
Yipee, I hope it will be available as wing/slats only for the E or early F version, all that lovely Korean War nose art. Don't you just love the slatted wing F-86, well I do.
Julien
Now this is good news. Also hope they do the slats separately as well. Julien
cr7driver
This guy could make money just by releasing an extended wing slat conversion set for the hasegawa and academy f-86 kits.

Also if you look at the two different pictures, there seems to be a 1/48 and a 1/72 set, they are very different I'm not a big fan of the Airfix Sabre but if I can do an proper RAF Slatted F4, I may have to get one Edited July 15, 2014 by chrisrope

Biggles87
Double ouch, I have an F-86A going at the moment using the old cutting edge set, it's going to be "Wham Bam " my all time favourite F86 nose art. I do hope that It will be available as wings/slats only and that the price will be more affordable. I intend to post my Sabre in RFI eventually, I don't think it will be ready for the group build, because we've recently acquired a puppy (as well as 2 other dogs and 2 horses) so I'm not getting a lot of time in the man cave! July 20 2014 at 5:57 PM Dave Lochead (Login KiwiResin) HyperScale Forums Hi all, at last I have got test shots from the 1/48 A Sabre. The resin is pretty good, some mods to the molds will make it better. One thing I am not happy with is the clear resin canopy, so this morning I sent the canopy masters to Tore Martin so the conversion will have very high quality Falcon canopies included, at the expense of yet another delay of approx 1 week. A plus is I am now selling the slat wing conversion seperately if you want one, but if you have ordered anA conversion with extra slat pack added, i will post all together to save postage. Julien
Even the slat set is £23 delivered to the UK + vat and £8 if they catch you. Nice stuff but could prove expensive in the UK. Julien
