mhaselden
Oh me, oh my! That looks rather tasty. Had a soft spot for the SB-2 ever since I found a Novo kit of the type in a newsagents while on holiday as a nipper (picked up a Skua by the same manufacturer at the same time - and have been fond of that type ever since, too!). Looking forward to this being officially released in hopes I can put the recent purchase of the excellent monograph by Mikhail Maslov ("Tupolev SB") to good use! Bonehammer
Doubleplusgood news as the company website had been inactive for a while and I was fearing the worst.
Jinxman
That looks fantastic - but can I bear to part company with the MPM vacform that's in the stash?

Bonehammer
That looks fantastic - but can I bear to part company with the MPM vacform that's in the stash?I have three if that's any consolation - one started, with scratchbuilt wheel well detail and reworked air intakes. I'm all for giving old kits a chance, but in some cases - such as the mpm vac - finiteness of human lifespan enters the calculation.
Homebee
Release expected now for April-May 2017. To be followed. Next will be the Yak-28PP - the electronic warfare variant - as depicted here. This is slated for April release. Also the Tupolev SB that many have asked about is still on the way and slated for the April/May time frame. So lots to look forward to! V.P. dragonlanceHR
It went the way of Dodo. Maybe we could persuade ICM to try one in a few years?
Wojtek2
Well, one can only hope the molds weren't scrapped. Were the sales results of the Il-4 and Tu-2 models so poor that it was not worth starting the production of SB-2 from already made toolings?
