Kuro Nezumi
I must get the D-13! The tree-top style camouflage has always appealed to me.
sroubos
That's a bit of surprise! I assume these are of the HQ mold variety also displayed on the 109G and Spitfire Mk IX?

Kuro Nezumi
They very similar, if not identical, to the sprues of the RV Aircraft kit. As seen here: http://www.modelimex.com/1-72-focke-wulf-fw-190d-
John Thompson
They very similar, if not identical, to the sprues of the RV Aircraft kit. As seen here: http://www.modelimex.com/1-72-focke-wulf-fw-190d-11 They are the sprues for the RV kit, but with improvements (new, corrected fuselage, resin parts); see here - the fourth post from the top, by meisnerr: http://z15.invisionfree.com/72nd_Aircraft/index.php?showtopic=5419 John
Kuro Nezumi
Thank you for this, John. Much appreciated. That explains that new sprue with the fuselage halves.

stevehnz
I really like the look of that wheel well insert with the rear of the engine bay detail, a stumbling block with many (most ) Fw190D- kits. Steve.
Denford
Superb looking tooling which would do credit to a Mainstream Manufacturer. One observation though: I always thought the extra section between the rear end of the fuselage and tail assembly was of constant section: a means to provide greater moment to the tail surfaces rather than enlarge them as with the Spitfire. Just looking at the sprues is seems doubtful if the tail could be fitted directly to the rear fuselage: or is it just parallax? Years back Frog! were complimented with having done this with their Ta152. Perhaps those (many) more knowledgeable than myself could comment.
