I see KFS are to release a couple of conversion kits for the 1:24 Emhar Bedford:

A brief announcement that we have squeezed in two further small conversion kits between the completion of the GKN Saxon & the start of the Bedford RL. These are both for the Emhar Bedford O Type kit & cover the OY & OX versions. (See Wiki for pictures) Full details as soon as these two items leave the pattern makers bench.

Also the AEC Militant in 1:24 draws closer!

The AEC Militant kit is now in the casting phase, price looks set to be around £240.00 including vat. So far, the parts count is 145 parts in high quality resin, 101 in cast white metal & 344 in brass etch, plus pre coloured clear cast lights & glazing. Total, over 600 pieces. We'll bring you more news & pictures as things develop. (KFS)

Update from KFS:

Emhar Bedford O Type conversion sets,

Master patterns are now well underway for a range of conversion parts designed to expand the Emhar Bedford O type range. Due to the large number of conversion possibilities & mixture of parts used for various applications, (OW, OY, OX to mention just 3) we will most likely make all items available separately rather than as 'fixed' sets. The range of parts will cover; the wartime O type sloping bonnet with both styles of early & late side panel; military pattern split rim wheels & Trak Grip tyres complete with hubs & larger road springs; the long wheel base steel sided cargo body, complete with spare wheel carrier & spare wheel, tool lockers etc; the short wheel base timber sided body; canopies to suit both SWB & LWB bodies.

We can also now confirm that a Bedford RL 4x4 3 ton GS kit is on the new release schedule. Like the Bedford MK kit currently on offer, this will be a complete kit from tyres to canopy. More news on this model as things develop. 28/6/14 Master patterns are expected to get underway some time in August. Casting will probably start late November with release expected in February 2015

Also looking forward to late 2014- early 2015

Later still in the year, & probably over-running into 2015, we will be turning our attention to several 'add-on' conversion kits for the FV432 APC, these include Wombat Role conversion, 81mm Mortar conversion, Peak Turret conversion, 30mm Rarden canon turret conversion, FV438 Swingire anti-tank conversion....culminating in a complete new full kit of the FV434 REME fitters vehicle. 28/6/14 The first of these conversions is the 7.62mm GPMG Peak turret kit. Masters for this are now well underway & the conversion for Peak equipped FV432 & Saxon should, with luck, be ready before the Telford show in November.

GKN AT-105 Saxon APC. 28/6/14 Following release of the AEC Militant is the rock hard looking GKN AT-104 Saxon APC. Again this is a complete kit from the ground up with working doors & a fully detailed interior. Given the design of this vehicle & the inaccessabilty of the engine we have opted for a 'top end' detail for the engine via the left side engine access grill only. This will reduce the cost of the kit slightly without detracting from the overall detail. Master patterns are now completed & in house. The kit is in the etchwork design phase & awaiting a production slot. We anticipate this kit will go for casting in August & be available for sale in October if all goes to plan.
