Millennium Falcon for Star Wars VII?

Surely, given the "historic" nature of her accomplishments, the old girl is in dry dock at Mos Eisley with crowds of nostalgic 50-something's touring her and remembering how their teenage rebel years saw THE Rebellion, and school children from a hundred worlds learning of the heroism of their forbears... That's a HISTORIC ship, that is... The Spacecraft Preservation Movement obviously took her in hand, and even salvaged and restored the battered wreck of a TIE Interceptor to display alongside her

I remember speaking to a "Well Known Preservation Expert" whom I still hold in high regard, shortly after the South Atlantic thing in 1982. I made a comment about preserving Pucaras, MB339's and A109's as a record of the conflict. He looked as if I had suggested that his cat learn Serbo Croat.

Luckily some of this stuff still exists.

I'm glad to see that practical special effects are going to be used in Episode VII alongside the inevitable CGI, but the most important note to hit will probably be a quality script, and a story that isn't trite.
