Alex2410
Hi, everyone)) Here's my attempt to build RML 2757. At first I wanted to make 100% copy of original. Some weeks later I understood that it would be very difficult for me, so let it be just "Red London Bus' as a stranger can see it)) Edited June 1, 2014 by Alex2410

Caution Wake Turbulence
Looks like an original to me! Nicely built and photographed - had to keep reminding myself it was a model! Andrew
stringbag
Excellent. One of the best I've seen completed. Chris.
tomprobert
That is stunning! You have to look twice at some of the photos to check it's not the real thing! I been cheeky and saved a few of your pictures as reference for my build when I get around to it. Tom

Caerbannog
Have nothing to add to the aforementiont coment - outstanding build and pics! Rene P.S.: Good choice of ads on the bus - you picked them based on a real bus or just for good looks etc?
PlaStix
That is something special!! I thought you'd included photos of the real one first until I took another look!! Excellent work - just like the real thing! I've got one of these that I picked up for £20 from MZ just before they closed down last year. I hope I can do it at least half as good as yours - not going to for a while though - too many Spifires I want to build!!
keefr22
One of the best I've seen completed. I was thinking exactly the same, not seen many better! Excellent weathering, really brings it to life - as does your superb photography!! Stunning work all round...!!
Bengalensis
Looking very good, the wethering makes it even better. Nice work! great photos as well.
Steve27752
What a beauty, I thought that it was a real bus. The weathering is very good, the only thing that I would add to the weathering would be to 'dirty up' the white grab rails at the rear enterance.

Anthony Kesterton
Very nicely done. I also had to double-check these were not the reference pics rather than the model. I particularly like the weathering.
Alex2410
Thank you for your comments) Caerbannog As for the advertising I found some pics at flicr.com My friend printed them for me on a usual paper & I used future (pledge) to fix them on boards. I don't think there is a real prototype of my ads scheme - just the pics I like)) PlaStix 20 is a very goog price. I paid about 40 to ebay seller. There's just one good thing - my kit really came to me from London )) As for the weathering - it's not as good as I wanted it to be. There was a problem with tamiya smoke while putting it over Tamiya ts. I tried to remove it, but as you can see a lot of black spots & so on are stil on bus. I had to use tamiya waethering A & D to make black spots, lines not so bright. I don't know if there are any dirty RMLs in London)) As for me it looks more like russian bus than english one)))) Edited May 22, 2014 by Alex2410
bangle
Nice bus! Lovely photography work too. It takes me back to building this model myself, great fun but sometimes a pain! You've done a really nice job. How did your front and back top sections and that horrible removable roof go on for you? I remember swearing a lot when I put those bits together on mine!
Kallisti
Oh trust me there were very dirty buses in London! Okay so the red ones never got as bad as the sort of thing I did last year ie but they did get very dirty at times. Did you add chewing gum stains to the floors and nicotine stains on the upper deck?
griffsrw
i think its one of the best london buses that i have seen, well done.
