DaveJL Posted May 14, 2014 Share Posted May 14, 2014 Hello all, Here is my recently finished Revell F-15E converted to an F-15l Ra'am of the Israeli Air Force. All conversion parts were pinched from a spare Academy Ra'am I had lying around. Extras included resin seats, FOD covers and Eduard remove before flight tags, all from the spares box. Build thread is here I wanted to try and depict a heavily bombed-up and weathered jet but I may have overdone the weathering slightly! Alongside my Kinetic F-16D Barak: Fiddling about with a new camera so the pictures are a bit iffy! Comments welcome, thanks for looking. Maybe need to try the revell one too. The Revell kit is by far the most accurate 1/48 F-15E on the market... Probably the nicest 1/48 F-15 kit in general. They are probably the best fitting kit i've ever made and are a lot cheaper than the Hasegawa kits. Academy's are fine, but not 100% accurate in some areas. Kampartiger Posted May 16, 2014 Share Posted May 16, 2014 A smart looking Ra'am.That spured me to build a similar F15I with the inclusion of the recently added R2D2 (Artoo Detoo) on the canopy hump.Hopefully the build will be somewhere near to yr high stardard.congrats,that's really a desert king!
