sailorboy61 Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Cam across these, got one ordered to see the quality. The handle might be suitable for the etch saw blades I have if nothing else. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GJQG04-MANWAH-Hobby-Razor-Saw-Handy-Craft-Saw-Model-Tools-NEW-/111351648274?pt=UK_ToysGames_ModelKits_ModelKits_JN&hash=item19ed135012
stevehnz Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 They look as though they might be quite handy, a report on this will be expected directly. Steve.
Mike Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Looks like it functions a bit like an X-Acto handle, which I think you can use with some etched saw blades, the rest seem to use a Swann Morton handle 1
Vally G Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 This appears to be knock-off of the OLFA AK-4 art knife and KB4-NS and KB4-WS blades. As a user of said items I can tell you that the blades are thicker than those of a razor saw. Kind regards, Adam
sailorboy61 Posted May 27, 2014 Author Posted May 27, 2014 Arrived pretty quickly. Not bad, certainly ok for the money. The blades aren't the best but sufficient for rough cuts (6 supplied), but handle is substantial with metal jaw set so with etch sawblades not a bad little tool!
