1/72 Dornier Do 26 V1, Amodel

Recommended Posts

He everyone!

This is my next model. From Ukraine's "A-model" firm. Who are familiar with the products of this company - he knows that it's actually not a model, and the workpiece. Model is still necessary to release the excess plastic and work a bit like a sculptor)).

Nice, very nice. The more of see of this kit the more I want one & really, its too big & too expensive but oh heck, it does look a bit smart. Seeing yours Fuad isn't helping my dilemma at all. :)

Steve.

Beautiful work Fuad, that front turret must have done wonders for the pilots vision

I think this fire tower immersed inside. So just terribly uncomfortable to fly)).

Fabulous modelling – 'museum quality' comes to mind.

Since you go to such lengths to make slick presentation photos, Fuad, why not get the Luftwaffe appellations correct? The RLM did not use a hyphen between the manufacturer abbreviation and the type number (in contrast with U.S. practice). The plane is called Do 26, not "Do-26"… ;-)

Great work on the kit!

Kind regards,

Joachim

OK, sir. If it's so important for you - I will consider your wishes in the future.

Lovely job Fuad, she's very beautiful. The little extras you have added like the handrails(?) on the engine cowlings really add a delicate touch and the weathering is a work of art in itself - excellent work :coolio:

Cheers,

Stew

I enjoy seeing different, more obscure aircraft.

Nice build. Very unusual looking plane and you did an awesome job.

Yes, I added the handrails and all antennas from wire, pitot tube from medical needles. The assembly diagram is not correct enough - must to look drawings and photographs.

Hi Fuad

Another beauty. This Dornier was a stunning aircraft originally built for postal services and launching from boats mid Atlantic.

You have done a wonderful job on this, I have the Mach2 version which I am told is a shocker to build, which is not exactly encouraging.

What the next Dornier we can look forward to, or are you keeping it as a surprise ?

Cheers Pat

Hi, Fuad...

Exquisite work... first class! I don't know if you used the kit transparencies or replacements, but they look very smart on your model.

Greetings to Baku from Glasgow, Scotland.

Paul
