Revell V-Dub Ratmeister

Recommended Posts

Hi

For your perusal and comments please see my freshly completed VW 'Jagermeister' T1 Kastenwagen.

This is the Revell kit and despite being a van kit has all the parts for the Samba Bus as well, so represents good value if you like filling up your spares bin.

I've tried to do it in a rat style with a clean interior. This is the first time I have attempted weathering to this degree and have utilised a few techniques to varying degrees of success.

This was part of a duo build with a standard camper van but that had to be stopped in order to finish this and get stuff ready for the impending arrival of our new baby!

Hope you like it!

As Revell would have you build it:

Ha ha! Very nice - great work on the "distressing" - love all the little sticker touches and the replacement door.

Lovely work - would =like to try this approach myself sometime so would love to hear about some of those techniques you've tried.
