F-32
This will be my second build, another Revell small cat again in high viz markings, but these decals are from the Minicraft kit (also boxed by Revell) which I purchased specifically for the markings. Once complete she should look like this: VF-14 F-14A 159019 Jul 1974 by tony_inkster, on Flickr Untitled by tony_inkster, on Flickr by tony_inkster, on Flickr by tony_inkster, on Flickr
Giorgio N
Nice choice of markings ! Small note: these early Tomcats had a different design of the tail... converting the 1/144 revell kit might not be the easiest thing to do though, if you can leave with the inaccuracy the easiest thing is leave everything as is. Otherwise the tail can be modified with plasticard and filler.
F-32
Thanks Giorgio, I think I can live with the issue this time around

F-32
Got some more work done on the main body and forward fuselage. Hopefully the first paint will be on by the end of the week, I think I'll go with gull grey this time instead of the slightly darker shade I used on my first build. Giorgio N
Looks like the kit needed some filler.. is this normal for these kits or is it just this particular one you're building ?
F-32
It tends to be standard for the small Revell kits, they don't need that much, just a little around the main joins.
Jabba
Nice start and another bright scheme to boot.
F-32
After a bit of a break I've applied the white, tanned the nose and painted the pit. Grey will be going on the wings tonight with the second coat tomorrow, confidence is high that this one will be finished before the deadline.
