chris148
Hello, I have come to the last of my builds which i have completed over the last 2 years.I have enjoyed being able to show them and have appreciated your comments. Will be a little while before another completed build will appear before you, currently just started 1/48 tomcat, still cockpit. Will try to get WIP photos posted. Heller GR1 Jaguar 1/48 Straight from the box,no extra's used Brush painted using standard humbrol paints. Couple of problems with kit - 3 clear parts missing but biggest problem was decals, these were really hard and not sticky at all, maybe age,kit was sealed and bought off ebay.Tried warm water, hot water, decafix diluted, decalfix neat, dissolved white glue solution but eventually got them on. Please feel free to comment good or bad.

Cookenbacher
Really nice Jaguar! What grey paint did you use? Humbrol Dk Sea Grey seems very dark to me, and whatever you used matches well to photographs I've seen here on Britmodeller: http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234960089-jaguars-at-cosford-2013-plus-harrier-and-tornados/ Also, you may want to join the Group Build with your Tomcat - I don't have a build in it, but have really enjoyed following all the WIP's, and would enjoy seeing yours too: http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/forum/468-grumman-f-14-tomcat-single-type-group-build-ii/ Edited May 3, 2014 by Cookenbacher
