AndrewCJ50
Dear Fellow Modellers Here is the Zvesda Bf109F-2 kit with Master Models MG.17 barrels and Eduard PE interior. Using the Mushroom Model publication I added some panel lines and rivets to the upper wing surfaces. Markings are for 9/JG54 of Hans-Ekkehard Bob (quite a name) Hope you like it? Vulcanicity
That's a lovely model! Was it a common Eastern Front field mod to remove the undercarriage doors? Never seen that before

AndrewCJ50
Dear Colleagues Glad you like it. I forgot to mention I replaced the supercharger intake with one from Quickboost. It went together OK but rather wierdly the canopy did not fit well. Suggest you dry fit several times first. Removal of undercarriage doors was common on winter BF109s on the Ostfront. I suppose it avoided the whole works gumming up with freezing mush Regards Andrew
Learstang
Lovely build and diorama! I've always had a particular liking for Eastern Front winter-camouflaged aircraft. Regards, Jason

The model and Dio we used is not a patch on yours, but it demonstrates what is possible with our products.
