Freezing cold Bf109F-2 (Zvesda 1/72)

Recommended Posts

Dear Fellow Modellers

Here is the Zvesda Bf109F-2 kit with Master Models MG.17 barrels and Eduard PE interior. Using the Mushroom Model publication I added some panel lines and rivets to the upper wing surfaces.

Markings are for 9/JG54 of Hans-Ekkehard Bob (quite a name)

Dear Colleagues

Glad you like it. I forgot to mention I replaced the supercharger intake with one from Quickboost. It went together OK but rather wierdly the canopy did not fit well. Suggest you dry fit several times first.

Removal of undercarriage doors was common on winter BF109s on the Ostfront. I suppose it avoided the whole works gumming up with freezing mush

Regards

Andrew

Very Nice, and if you want to add some frost to all of this you can without losing your detail.

We are also offering exclusive discounts on our products to Britmodeller subscribers!

The model and Dio we used is not a patch on yours, but it demonstrates what is possible with our products.
