jimbob1974 Posted April 21, 2014 Share Posted April 21, 2014 Can anyone help me out? I find the AFV club kit supplied tracks look very good but I find painting the a complete nightmare. I always prime my tracks with halfords primer (as I do with all my kits) but when dry the primer just flacks off and I end up buying the workable track sets. does anyone know how I can get over this problem? Dads203 Posted April 21, 2014 Share Posted April 21, 2014 Not sure to be honest, I normally use AM links like fruil, so the only advice I can give is too make sure you have washed them properly to get rid of any mold release agent. I'd then look at a hotter primer, possibly something with a good solvent (Alclad but cut with a little celulose thinner to make it key with the vinyl material better) Hope this helps Dan Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
