richellis
I have one in the stash, is it really worth this much! ?????????
Shar2
I've got one too, but don't think it's worth a quarter of the price. You still see them at shows going for around £45.

Albeback52
Never even knew this kit existed till today. However, it looks as if (price-wise) it's the maritime equivalent of the Otaki C-5A Galaxy!! Sad thing is, there will probably be someone ( a collector no doubt) who will pay that kind of money for a kit that will subsequently never get built. Albeback52
Not just the boat kit. Check these other "rare" Revell kits out. All listed by the same seller. They seem to have been listed forever!!: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ROCKETS-NORTHROP-SNARK-SM-62-GUIDED-MISSILE-KIT-DJ-/190477962496?pt=UK_ToysGames_ModelKits_ModelKits_JN&hash=item2c595f0d00 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ROCKETS-U-S-ARMY-CORPORAL-FIRESTONE-SURFACE-TO-SURFACE-GUIDED-MISSILE-KIT-DJ-/190581569505?pt=UK_ToysGames_ModelKits_ModelKits_JN&hash=item2c5f8bf7e1 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ROCKETS-REDSTONE-CHRYSLER-BALLISTIC-MISSILE-KIT-DJ-/200558134939?pt=UK_ToysGames_ModelKits_ModelKits_JN&hash=item2eb232469b http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ROCKETS-U-S-ARMY-CORPORAL-FIRESTONE-SURFACE-TO-SURFACE-GUIDED-MISSILE-KIT-DJ-/190581569505?pt=UK_ToysGames_ModelKits_ModelKits_JN&hash=item2c5f8bf7e1 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ROCKETS-Lacrosse-Missile-with-Mobile-Launcher-made-in-1958-by-REVELL-DJ-/200547358983?pt=UK_ToysGames_ModelKits_ModelKits_JN&hash=item2eb18dd907 What I find especially amusing is that the Corporal is listed elsewhere at £9.99 and, the Lacrosse at £12.50. I already have the Snark, Corporal and Redstone missiles. For which respectively paid approx £12, £14 & £11. Why would anyone pay the ludicrous prices listed above? Aimee'sDad
Surely the seller is either dillusional or just trigger happy with the zero on the listing? £200? My hat.
richellis
IM looking to sell or trade mine so was looking about at its value, so any realistic values would be great! It is a rare kit to see for sale but that doesn't make it valuable
chadders
Don't get confused with this one http://www.wonderlandmodels.com/products/revell-172-dgzrs-95-m-class-lifeboat/ or 05211 which were the cheap ones. 05238 was £40-£50 when it came out. I know of a shop that has one in at £69.99 (its a bloody big box!), but £200 is still steep
Acky190
It looks to me as though it could be RC converted with a bit of work, but I can't imagine that would push the price up by a huge amount? The missile kits that someone else has put links to have been on eBay for literally years! The guy selling them also likes very high P&P charges. They are the original Revell kits from the 60's that normally do well in the US, but he also had some of the re-released SSP kits that he was pushing out for around 15-20 quid however he wanted between 8-10 quid postage.
Aimee'sDad
Trouble is its not exactly uncommon on fleabay for kits, or anything else for that matter, to be ridiculously overpriced. And even worse some people pay it!

The missile kits seem to be almost permanently listed at these silly prices. One would think that the seller would take the hint if they weren't shifting.......................................!!????? richellis
Yea, This is the masive 1:72 kit, that would make it a fair price to post anyway.
