Muzz
This is my recently finished Mig-23 from Trumpeter, built OOB other than some Eduard FOD covers. I used Akan and Vallejo Model Air colours, quite hard to get the colours matched as Polish Mig-23 had various different camo styles depending on where they were overhauled and I'm still not happy that there correct. I used the brilliant Polish Wings Mig-23 publication whilst building this kit, a great reference source. A great kit to build, the most fun I've had building a kit in a while and I'm already thinking about getting the newly released Flogger G to accompany it!
Cookenbacher
That is really cool looking! Looks great in that scheme - how did you go about weathering the radome?

Epeeman
I'm not really into to modern military jets, but I must say I am impressed with your finish - I really like the faded paint look and I can see you have built this to a high standard. Muzz
That is really cool looking! Looks great in that scheme - how did you go about weathering the radome? I used salt weathering to do the radome and the underside which you can't really see due to my rubbish photography. First time I've tried this technique and It was relatively straight forward, but I'll need some practise. The decals are from the kit, good decals, you get two operational schemes which are similar and a god awful special scheme which is on the box art. Can't praise the kit enough, good detail, good decals, a photo etch set for seat belts, airbrake detail and some exterior detail. There's also good nicely detailed undercarriage / bays and a choice of afterburner nozzles. A good price too, cost me £29 from Wonderland. Thanks for all the comments. Snitok1983
is that decals from Italeri kit? Excellent work! But, imho the preshading is too contrastly (i mean the hard used top side against new clean bottom side)... Any way- it is a maserpiece modelling work!
