Tiger331
I quite fancy doing an RAF Whirlwind HAR.10…..I see that Alley Cat do a Mk 9 conversion set for the Italeri/Revell kit of the H-19 Chickasaw and wondered if I can use this as a basis for the conversion. I realize the torpedo fairing (if it is that) on the underside of the Alley Cat resin set is probably not appropriate to an RAF SAR HAR.10 but is there anything else I need to be worried about ? Thanks

Thanks Heritage Aviation do a HAR 10, and a HAR 10T (tropical) nose in 1/72. I would try that rather than muck about modifying a Mk 9 nose which is quite different. http://www.kitsforcash.com/whirlwind-mk-10-nose-166-p.asp http://www.kitsforcash.com/whirlwind-mk-10t-tropical-nose-167-p.asp Selwyn Edited April 12, 2014 by Selwyn
