foxy
Cheers Daniel. Thanks Warren mate. Not my intention to promote Daniels etchings as they promote them selves in the build.Wealthy I am not, but if a product that will do the job and do it well is available, then I do not mind forking out.Well so as not to bore you all silly, I will keep the boat building down to a minimum, but for those who want to know more on the building of them, then PM me.There are six in all and all have to be altered as they come in very basic shape. The 18Ft cutter is the smallest and this had to be cut in half and rejoined. This using the 150 Connie boat. Now adding tape to the base to represent planking.Next its the 34Ft Barge. This has a few things to be done, but will show in a more complete state after these pictures. The 28Ft Pinnace is the most complicated to build.Using the 1/96 USS Constitution one for this. This again will be seen once its complete. That leaves three more to complete.foxy
foxy
Having now completed with all the detail its time to get some paint on, this will be Tamiya grey primer. This has been the most Interesting boat.Rudder and oars next for this. The 32Ft Barge is now ready to prime.Plus the 28Ft Pinnace. As you see from the pictures all the boats are different.Again rudders and oars next for these.Foxy

I just enjoy the build and all this hassle is now for me no fun. I will continue, but in my own time and for my own pleasure. Thanks to all for looking and taking part, its been much appreciated. I hope it inspires others to have a go at this kit. Foxy.

JimHead23
I have been following your progress in awe and admiration without contributing and thinking that I could never take on such a monumental modelling task as this has turned into. I totally appreciate your frustration and wish you good luck in finishing. I hope one day you may be able to at least post pictures of the finished project to put us all out of our misery! Following the build has been inspirational. Thank you.

foxy
Thanks folks.PB changed the way it works, as I do not do face/book or any other type of medium for spreading information about my work or business, I could not at that time ether download to forums, so the frustration. Now its changed so I can DL.Well last pictures on the Boats as there near as dam-it finished.First the paints I used for these boats.Next the big one, 34Ft Barge.Next the 32 Ft Barge.Admirals boat.Next the 28 Ft Pinnace. The 25Ft Cutter, this will be hanging from a davit later.Last the little 18 Ft Cutter.Four will be on deck, so should make a good picture. Oars to make, just waiting on more 1x1mm for the four piece each oar.So now its back to the Ship again and working on the forecastle area.foxy
