Victory 1/100 Heller with Dafi detail etching.

Recommended Posts

Cheers Daniel.

Thanks Warren mate.
Not my intention to promote Daniels etchings as they promote them selves in the build.
Wealthy I am not, but if a product that will do the job and do it well is available, then I do not mind forking out.
Well so as not to bore you all silly, I will keep the boat building down to a minimum, but for those who want to know more on the building of them, then PM me.

There are six in all and all have to be altered as they come in very basic shape.

The 18Ft cutter is the smallest and this had to be cut in half and rejoined.

This using the 150 Connie boat.

Now adding tape to the base to represent planking.

Next its the 34Ft Barge.
This has a few things to be done, but will show in a more complete state after these pictures.

The 28Ft Pinnace is the most complicated to build.
Using the 1/96 USS Constitution one for this.

This again will be seen once its complete.

That leaves three more to complete.

Rudder and oars next for this.

The 32Ft Barge is now ready to prime.

Plus the 28Ft Pinnace.

As you see from the pictures all the boats are different.

Again rudders and oars next for these.

Cheers Kev.

But with PB playing up so I think I will call it a day on showing pictures..

I just enjoy the build and all this hassle is now for me no fun.

I will continue, but in my own time and for my own pleasure.

Thanks to all for looking and taking part, its been much appreciated.

I hope it inspires others to have a go at this kit.

Sad to see you go mate. I changed from PB to Google+ Photos and it is marvellous. Give it a try and see how you go.

Cheers

Warren

I have been following your progress in awe and admiration without contributing and thinking that I could never take on such a monumental modelling task as this has turned into.

I totally appreciate your frustration and wish you good luck in finishing.

I hope one day you may be able to at least post pictures of the finished project to put us all out of our misery!

Following the build has been inspirational. Thank you.

What?? What happened???? I feel like I missed something.

*EDIT* PB = Photobucket...I see, frustrations with posting pictures killed this On-line build... Damn you Photobucket!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was a great build while it lasted. You sir have a talent.

Thanks Jim and Kev.

Was asked to show the scale size of these boats, so two pictures of the large and smallest boats.
