You are supposed to put the Mrs.in the shed and do the building in the living room. Mind you I wouldn't suggest this at home

Good suggestion on the living room mate, but better not show your last comment to her, could end up like this lol. :fight:

'That's me by the way' :banghead: .

Well while waiting for the weather to get a little better I have been studding the rope layout.

Realise I have put the Jeer ropes in the wrong position, they should go threw the sheaves on the main bits on deck.

Not a problem, but sets it back a little!!!!.

Have put on the main and fore lift ropes, these have to go on before the next stage, Fore/main topsail yards.

Chaffing at the bit to continue.

It would be a big exercise to move up to the Living room, so will have to wait.

If that doesn't work find out if there's a luxury hotel nearby, cost a bit but for the price a bargain for the weekend  ....

Sounds perfectly reasonable behaviour to me. Look on it as a harsh necessity.

Truly an amazing build of this great warship, the detail work on this build is really impressive and consumed my resevoir of likes with ease.

Its also great to see this PE set for this kit in "action" guess for this kit a must have !

Not stopped on this one.

So much going on I have had to shelve for a while.

With the garage full of a friends stuff(moving house) Relations in the very near future and then a new Kitchen, its more space needed for box.s etc.

So my work space is needed.

But studding what's needed next on Victory and taking a peek at Constitution(1/96) which I have decided is my next project.

Some very nice models here being built to keep me from the doldrums lol!!!!!!.

I am off for a week in May to Munich,(hotel there)!!!!

But hope to get one room back before then to carry on with Victory, aimed to finish before end of June.

Thanks all for looking in.

How on earth have I missed this stunning build before now??!😨

Mr Foxy,

I bow before you and your masterpiece!

I'd be as well as going and converting my Albatros to match wood right away.... I'm not worthy!

'Right'. with mojo intact its back to the Victory.

Have some Caldercraft parrel ribs which was intended for another build, but which to use for Victory.

Top lot are me own and bottom brass one's.

DSCF6965_zpsy42lzem0.jpg

All with plastic parrel beads from the same maker.

I believe I will use both, the longer one's for the main top mast and other for the fore top mast.

Well that's the plan.

More to follow soon me hopes.

Nice! Keep up the good work. I got some unbelievably tiny beads from a craft-sewing shop. Amazing what you can find in the oddest places....another one is linen lacemaking thread. I picked some up years ago in a craft shop in bath, seriously thin and rope coloured to boot.

I too am glad to see the master at work again.

The only downside to this and your builds is that they have me itching to start my Endeavour when I know full well that I absolutely have to get the stuff currently on my bench finished before I can take on anything else of any size!

The lanterns are from the Heller kit.

Believe it or not there is still work here, but can do later.

Having sorted the lower yards/sails its to the fore/main and mizzen top sails next.

These will be in the open position.
