I confess being not very excited by this announcement as it's already possible to build a fine OA-4M combining the top Hasegawa TA-4J kit (http://www.cybermodeler.com/hobby/kits/has/kit_has_07243.shtml) and the dedicated Steel Beach Accessories conversion set (http://steel-beach.com/oa-4m.html).

 

UPDATE - This project is reported cancelled

Wonder if that would also lead them to consider a TA-4F/J? Guess it depends on how they've engineered the hump, intakes and various other details.

It looks like it. Take for example, the F-16 variations Kinetic has produced in the past.

It’s even easier to combine parts from a Hasegawa A-4M and a TA-4J to create an OA-4M.

As this thread is from 2014 and the project was cancelled I doubt you will see one.
