DaveJL
Hello all, Here is my second entry for the GB: 1/48 Hasegawa F-14D in the markings of VF-31 'Tomcatters' during the last cruise in 2005/6. The kit: The aftermarket: Will be using an Aires cockpit, Quickboost seats, Royale Resin fuel tanks, Wolfpack OIF update set, Steel Beach FOD covers, Master pitot tube and VF decals. Neal
Good choice of scheme. I imagine you'll be able to build these blindfolded.

Brian P: Fightertown Decal
Great scheme! If you want to do 101 as it looked at sunset and before retirement though, the VF sheet won't get you there. That's only for the last cruise. If you want a copy of Fightertown Decals 48065 with the Sunset jets, that will get get all the details that changed on the repaint. The VF sheet is very good. We based some of our art off it (same artist) and with VF's help -brian
DaveJL
Cheers chaps! Don't worry Brian, I'm a big fan of Fightertown Decals and the VF-31 sheet is on my wish list! Dave
nimrod54
Thanks mate....not quite blindfolded, i still need to look at the instructions Dave Instructions, I thought that they were used to stop the modelling table wobbling.
DaveJL
Instructions, I thought that they were used to stop the modelling table wobbling. Or small bits disappearing into the carpet! Hasegawa 'cats do require the odd look, even after building 15 of them
