DominikS
Finally I've found the photos of A6M5 Type 52. The build started at the end of December but the photos were taken on the 18th when much of the gluing work had been finished. It is my first Tamiya's Zero and I must say that it's pure pleasure to build it. As I have more Zeros to build (one 52, one 22 and three 21) I can forecast that this year will be "The Reisen Year" for me, although I don't have much time for modelling. OK, enough talking. Here are the photos. Engine cowling with engine inside: And the latest photos taken last week - canopy and windscreen attached. Those transparent parts are very clear and thin - just piece of art. As I have already received painting masks made by Eduard I can't wait when I'm able to spray surfacer and start painting. Cheers! Dominik
DominikS
Time is precious but it always lacks, especially for modelling. But finally I've managed to paint and decal my Reisen 52. Unfortunately there was a disaster and one of the tail codes was destroyed while placing. If anyone could help I'll be very grateful for tail codes. Cheers! JOAN
Look fantastic ! sad for the decals. 1/72 is not the easy way to make some masks. a new tail code seems the only way. great build anyway. olivier
