DominikS
Some time ago (at the beginning of February) I started working on my second A6M Zero (the first one is A6M5 Reisen 52). Unfortunately I don't have much time for modelling so the progress is very slow. All I have done so far is documented on the photos below. First I painted the cockpit: Then assembled wings: Last week I closed the fuselage, did some puttying and sanding, painted under canopy part "black", finished cockpit and join everything together. As for today everything looks lite that: I hope this week I'll attach tailplanes and gunsight. But I'm not sure about one thing. Should I attach aerial mast. The photos of Q-102 aircraft from Buna show her without the mast but it's only a wreck. Does anyone have a photo of this aircraft when it was still in service? Thanks for any help. DominikS
A small update. I did what I had planned. Tailplanes and gunsight on their place. But there was a small issue - a gap between wing and a fuselage. To close it I used Evergreen's stuff. What's interesting Reisen 52 doesn't have such problem. Right, here's the pics:
